Happy Anniversary! We’ve Gone Responsive.

Happy Anniversary! We’ve Gone Responsive.

Today Is The First Year Anniversary Of TheCameraForum.Com, So To Celebrate We’ve  Gone Responsive.

For all of us here at TheCameraForum.Com, I want to thank each and every one of you, our readers, for having taken the time to read our original articles and curations over this, our first year of publication.  Looking back, I can see where we have done some things well, some things not at all, and some we could have done better.  I have certainly learned a lot in the process and we do appreciate your participation!  Now we’ve gone responsive too.

To better serve the needs of our mobile camera community, some technology changes were needed to support “gone responsive” ideas we have for our second year.  One “biggie” was changing our website magazine format to one that had gone responsive, capable of resizing our content on portable devices like tablets and smartphones as well as take advantage of a large screen when available.  The major portion of that work is completed.  You who read TheCameraForum.Com™ on a mobile phone or pad device should be seeing a greatly improved format, one much easier for you to interact with.  We have further technology changes yet to be introduced as well, all with the design goal of leading to a better, more interactive interface between us all as users.

Please email me or post a comment below to let me know if and where you see any problems with this new responsive format.  It has taken us a year so far to shake out our back-end website code, and we aren’t quite finished yet, but good things often take time to accomplish.  We should get the rest of the changes to the overall site design completed for this current round shortly.  I am looking forward to some of the interactive features we have planned.

One of these new features is the new “READER SURVEY” section below.  As the Managing Editor, the more I know about your story preferences the more I can guide our editorial agenda and what stories go on the calendar.  Take a moment if you would, and give us your vote or votes.  You can vote more than once, if you like.  The collective results to date of the polling is shown after you register your vote.  So please scroll on down to the READER SURVEY below, and add your vote to our “Gone Responsive” efforts here at TheCameraForum.Com™  You’ll be glad you did, and we appreciate it greatly.
