Canon 16-35mm F4L IS USM Video Test

Canon 16-35mm F4L IS USM Video Test

Canon 16-35mm f/4L IS USM test from Jon Roemer on Vimeo.

From my good friend Jon Roemer; some interesting video samples shot with the new Canon 16-35mm F4L zoom lens. Commenting on the canon 16-35mm f4l, Jon had this to say,

“Testing the sharpness and image stabilization (IS) of the new Canon 16-35mm f/4L IS USM. All clips shot on a Canon C300 in C-log and graded in FCP X. All 23.97p, 180 deg. shutter, 16mm (~24mm equiv.), handheld and with IS on.”

“ISO and f-stop as marked on each clip. No stabilization or sharpening was added in post.”

This lens is “Far sharper than the 16-35mm f/2.8L Mark II, especially in the corners, noticeably less chromatic aberration, and with the addition of image stabilization (IS).”
