Have you ever heard the stories of Photographer Dennis Manarchy?  He goes down in my book as one of the great living American photographers.  Not only does Dennis Manarchy have the magnetic powers of a P.T. Barnum, as a photographer Dennis Manarchy possesses an excellent set of photographic craft skills, an eye for classic portraiture, and excellent vision into the souls of the people he photographs.  Dennis Manarchy puts a lifetime of experience and thought into every image he creates.

Dennis Manarchy:
“We have come to a tipping point. There are fewer and fewer cohesive American cultures. The “Greatest Generation” is in their 90’s. The world loses a language every two weeks. Maybe it’s time to step back, take a deep breath and freeze this pivotal moment in time. “

He only takes one photograph at each sitting.  For Denis Manarchy, he is sorting through all of the moments and emotions in real time, and then triggering his “shutter” at the one perfect time to produce stunning portraits such as these:
